A Thai green tea with a brilliant blue twist
ChaTraMue combines Assam green tea with butterfly pea and dried jasmine to create a loose tea that is as enjoyable to look at as it is to serve. Brew it in clear glassware and the infusion develops a rich blue colour; add lemon or lime and it shifts towards violet.
The jasmine gives the tea a soft floral aroma, while the green-tea base brings more body than a plain butterfly-pea flower infusion. Serve it unsweetened, add a little sugar or honey, or turn it into an iced milk tea.
What does it taste like?
