How to use

Use approximately 1 gram (a small pinch) of dried cordyceps flowers per cup.

No. This is cultivated Cordyceps militaris, a different species from wild Ophiocordyceps sinensis. It is supplied as whole dried golden-orange fruiting bodies.
You can re-steep the same cordyceps flowers 2-3 times. The colour and flavour will gradually become lighter with each steep, and you can adjust the steep to taste. After the final steep, you can even eat the softened flowers!
Whole dried cordyceps lets you see the fruiting bodies and choose how much to use. Brew them as an infusion, re-steep for a lighter cup, or add them to soups and congee.
